Nutritional therapy consists of the use of diet and nutritional supplements to help treat disease and achieve optimum health and wellbeing. The foundation of nutritional medicine is a health-promoting diet that focuses on the consumption of whole, natural foods. Nutritional supplements are used in the overall context of nutritional medicine as complementary agents, not as sole primary medicines. Diet is always primary, and supplementation secondary.

What happens in a nutrition consultation?
You will be sent a questionnaire prior to your appointment which will provide details of your medical and family health history, current symptoms and diet.

During the initial consultation we will discuss your health problems and aims, and look at why you may be experiencing certain health problems.

After the consultation you will receive:
A personalised written report suggesting various dietary and lifestyle changes
A personalised supplement programme (if necessary) to help treat specific health conditions
Menu ideas prepared especially for you

A follow-up consultation is usually recommended after 4 weeks to assess your progress and address any further health issues.

Prices for Nutritional Therapy & testing

Initial Nutrition Consultation (1 1/2 hour) £60
